Doug Hendry

Doug Hendry leads technology at Revive Environmental. His job is to grow and mature the company’s technologies across the full PFAS service chain: field collection, concentration and verified destruction. His focus today is scaling the PFAS Annihilator®, Revive’s supercritical water oxidation (SCWO) technology, which breaks PFAS down into water and inert salts. Doug has spent 17 years working with supercritical fluids, and he knows the PFAS Annihilator® from the beginning. He was one of the early contributors to its development at Battelle.

Before joining Revive as CTO in 2025, Doug was technology lead and head of engineering for SCW Gasification at SCW Systems in Europe. There he oversaw the design, construction and operation of one of the world’s largest supercritical water facilities, which produced green gas. He began his career at Duke University, contributing to pioneering SCWO research on wastewater treatment for underserved communities. Doug holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Missouri. He came to Revive for the chance to make a bigger impact on what everyone depends on: clean water and a clean environment.
