Thousands of gallons of PFAS-Containing AFFF collected through Ohio EPA’s Takeback Program

In March 2024, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio EPA announced a first-of-its-kind initiative to collect and destroy PFAS-containing AFFF from fire departments throughout the state.

With Battelle and Ohio EPA, Revive collected thousands of gallons of AFFF from 130 fire departments across 54 counties.

Now the real fun begins as Revive has already begun destroying the AFFF using our PFAS Annihilator® SCWO units in our Columbus, Ohio facility.

Take a look at this video that Ohio EPA assembled highlighting our journey thus far.
